Andreas Ritter takes over as Managing Director of the Swiss Art Market Association (SAMA), an umbrella organisation of the four art trade associations (Gallerists’ Association, Auctioneers’ Association, Antiques Trade Association and Art Trade Association) on 1 January 2019.

Andreas Ritter has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Art Stations Foundation CH, which operates the Muzeum Susch in the Engadine, since 2018 and supports the strategic development of this private art initiative.
emma kunz foundation
Since 2018 Andreas Ritter has helped to establish the Emma Kunz Foundation, which looks after the work of the artist and runs the Emma Kunz Centre in Würenlos. Exhibitions were realized in 2019 at the Serpentine Gallery in London and at Muzeum Susch in the Engadine. A comprehensive retrospective is planned for 2020 at the Kunsthaus Aarau.
kunstforum Zürich (KFZ) Foundation
Since February 2017 Andreas Ritter has been a founder and managing director of the Kunstforum Zürich (KFZ) Foundation, an initiative of committed art collectors, which organizes events on topics related to Zurich as an art centre and the art market in the broader sense.
Private Collection
Since 2004 Andreas Ritter has been handling all art law matters for a European private collection (including coordination of logistical, customs, insurance and conservation measures), which is on permanent loan to the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) for 15 years since 2014.

Andreas Ritter represents the interests of various artists in exhibitions, e.g. a Swiss artist with museum exhibitions in MAXXI/Rome, at the Milan Triennale (both 2017), and national and international gallery exhibitions.
foundation for constructive, concrete and conceptual art / museum haus konstruktiv
Andreas Ritter is vice president and legal advisor to the Foundation for Constructive, Concrete and Conceptual Art, which runs the Museum Haus Konstruktiv in Zurich, and has been jointly responsible for opening the museum to contemporary art.
